Welcome to Autumn sailing

Wednesday evening 1st March looks to be a pleasant introduction to autumn sailing 2023. Forecast is for 6kt W or WSW and an absence of rain. Nothing to stressful.

Interesting race results from the 2 races for the Zephyr fleet last Saturday. Serene  scored a 1st and a 3rd (Scott), Philomene scored a 3rd and a 1st (Ray), and Bernadine scored a 2nd and a 2nd (John), all with four points in total. If this was a two race series with no discards, who came 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall (see Racing Rules of Sailing, rule A8 to work out the answer). See you on the race course tomorrow
